(a library for the end of the world) :
2008 installation of altered books for "the art of the book" at the oriental museum, durham university. visitors were invited to sit awaile and read the altered and chained books. the chains formed an increasingly complex web throughout the four weeks of the installation.
the small wall mounted piece is the complete works, a miniature library of shakespears' plays coated in beeswax.
